Prinzipiell funktioniert Musik in ihren grund-legendenEigenschaften, unabhängig von Stil und Gattung,nach den gleichen Regeln.Hier sind Begriffe wieSpannung und Ent-spannung,bezogen auf alle musikalischen Parameter , wichtiger Bestandteil musikalischer Gestaltung.
In principle, music works in its basic properties, regardless of style and genre, according to the same rules. Here are terms such as tension/relaxation, related to all musical parameters, an important part of musical design.
Ein zentraler Aspekt der Musikkomposition ist das Konzept von Spannung und Entspannung. Diese beiden Elemente stehen in einem ständigen Dialog zueinander und tragen dazu bei, die Auf-merksamkeit des Zuhörers zu fesseln. Spannung kann durch verschiedene Mittel erzeugt werden, zum Beispiel durch har-monische Dissonanzen oder rhythmische Variationen, während Entspannung oft durch die Rückkehr zu stabilen musikalischen Strukturen erreicht wird.
A central aspect of music composition is the concept of tension and relaxation. These two elements are in a constant dialogue with each other and help to captivate the listener's attention. Tension can be generated by various means, for example by harmonic dissonances or rhythmic variations, while relaxation is often achieved by returning to stable musical structures.
Das Verständnis dieser dynamischen Beziehung ist entscheidend für jeden Komponisten. Es er-möglicht Ihnen, Musik zu schaffen, die nicht nur technisch ausgefeilt ist, sondern auch gefühlvoll und bewegend ist.
Understanding this dynamic relationship is crucial for every composer. It allows you to create music that is not only technically sophisticated, but also emotional and moving.
Das Prinzip von Spannung/Entspannung ist maßgeblicher Bestandteil meines musikalischen Denkens,sowohl als Saxophonist wie auch als Komponist.In der klassischen Musik inspiriert mich ganz besonders der zeitliche Übergang von der Spätromantik zur Modernen.Hier wurden die harmonischen Möglichkeiten ausgereizt und mit unterschiedlich neuen Ausdrucksinhalten experimentiert. (z.B.Bartok,A.Berg,A.Webern,Stravinsky,Shostakovich...).
The principle of tension / relaxation is a decisive part of my musical thinking, both as a saxophonist and as a composer. As inspiration for classical music, the temporal transition from late romanticism to modernism inspires above all. Here the harmonic possibilities were exhausted and with different newExperimented with expressive content. (e.g. Bartok, A.Berg,A.Webern,Stravinsky, Shostakovich...).
